Tame Impala are a Psychedelic Rock-Band from Perth, Australia. Head of the Project is Kevin Parker. Tame Impala was the band that introduced me to  what is my favorite genre today - Psychedelic Rock. For me, they set the standard that constitutes a good band from this genre. Diverse, creative, psychedelic - something reminiscent of bands such as Okta Logue, not just the same - just as it should be. They do not sound like asimple band, always bring something that make the music special. Unexpected and mind-blowing. That is what you'll experience when listening to Tame Impala. Please support them! Buy their albums, visit their gigs!

Make love, not war!

Peace.

"Tuesday's Gone" (Allen Collins, Rossington, Van Zant) – 7:32
"Gimme Three Steps" (Collins, Van Zant) – 4:30
"Simple Man" (Rossington, Van Zant) – 5:57

Side two

"Mississippi Kid" (Al Kooper, Van Zant, Bob Burns) – 3:56
"Poison Whiskey" (Ed King, Van Zant) – 3:13
"Free Bird" (Collins, Van Zant) – 9:18

This is the debut of Lynyrd Skynyrd, southern rock Band. I hope I don't have to introduce the Band any further, if you haven't heard of them, be ashamed or buy a record of them ;)

however, I think this is a really nice LP. Especially the last song is just mind-blowing, epic guitar solo and awesome lyrics included. Check the album on youtube!

Ah, and, I wouldn't recommend the Album "God and Guns", better check out "Lynyrd's Skynyrd First and Last" or "Gimme Back my Bullets", if you like this one.

"Anyone who has Intelligence may interpret the Number of the Beast. It is a man's number. This Number is 666"- this is the slogan right on the froncover of this famous Double-LP by the Greek Progrock Band Aphrodite's Child. Vangelis, the main composer of this Concept-Album, melted Elements of Prog, Psychedelic, and Greek Folklore into an really deep masterpiece. The lyrics deal with the Book of Revelation, but can be seen as metaphors for many things. I really dig this album, check it out. There is also a nice cover-version by the Band The Devil's Blood, they intergrated the Track "Four Horsemen" into the live performance of one of their songs, be sure to check it out too.
