Graveyard - Goliath (Single, White Edition)

Hell yeah!

I've been on a gig of the sweidish superstars last sunday. They were really awesome. However, I bought this single there, containing the Track "Goliath" taken from their third Record "Lights Out", and a awesome B-Side, called "Leaving You". The Single was released in four Editions; the White, Blue, Yellow and Grenn cover version. If you put all four together, you'll get the whole cover picture.

Marathonmann - Die Stadt gehört den Besten

Today, I want to show you an EP by the german Post-Hardcore/Melodic Punk Band Marathonmann . I saw them a while ago on their tour with No Turning Back and Comeback Kid, and they were suprisingly awesome. They play a poetic, melodic Hardcore with a lot of gossebump moments. They released this three track masterpiece, including the Tracks "Hier fängt alles an.." (Everything begins here..), "Die Stadt gehört den Besten" (the City belongs to the best) and "Briefe von Gestern" (Letters from Yesterday".

Although only about 10 minutes, I really dig this EP. Be sure to check them on Facebook, Twitter , iTunes or their Homepage

''She comes in colors everywhere;
She combs her hair
She's like a rainbow
Coming, colors in the air
Oh, everywhere
She comes in colors

She comes in colors everywhere;
She combs her hair
She's like a rainbow
Coming, colors in the air
Oh, everywhere
She comes in colors

Have you seen her dressed in blue?
See the sky in front of you
And her face is like a sail
Speck of white so fair and pale
Have you seen a lady fairer?

She comes in colors everywhere;
She combs her hair
She's like a rainbow
Coming, colors in the air
Oh, everywhere
She comes in colors

Have you seen her all in gold?
Like a queen in days of old
She shoots her colors all around
Like a sunset going down
Have you seen a lady fairer?

She comes in colors everywhere;
She combs her hair
She's like a rainbow
Coming, colors in the air
Oh, everywhere
She comes in colors

She's like a rainbow
Coming, colors in the air
Oh, everywhere
She comes in colors''

The Who - Who's Next?

Side A
Baba O Riley
Bargain
Love Ain't For Keeping
My Wife
Song is Over

Side B
Getting in Tune
Going Mobile
Behind Blue Eyes
Won't get fooled again

THIS IS ESSENCIAL!

This Album contains truly one of the most interesting and valuable Songs the Band ever did. Townshend wrote every song except the awesome "My Wife", which was written by John Entwistle. Many Songs include synth's and show how Townshend tried to evolve the Sound of the Who and of Rock Music as well. They were among the first  Rock Bands to use Syntheziers. With masterpieces like the already mentioned "My Wife", "Baba O Riley" (a Homage to Townshend's guru), The superhit "Behind Blue Eyes" (awesome Job Daltrey did here) and the Hymn "Won't get fooled again", this LP should be in every good record collection. The Cover is a good way to explain the Band; cheeky, wild, and awesome.

10. You've Got My Soul On Fire

Year: (DDR/GDR) 1977

The Tempations are a Soul/Funk/Pop/Gospel band by Dennis Edwards, Richard Street, Otis Williams, Damon Harris, Melvin Frankling. It originated in the early 60's.
The Temptations didn't really make the type of music that I'd normally listen to, but this band is amazing. For someone that doesn't know the band, or has never really listened to soul, it's a nice experience -at least it was for me

R.I.P. Jimi!
